What year did you start CrossFitting?

I started doing crossfit in 2014

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

I was always active in sports as a child. I got into working out at a gym after high school. After becoming a trainer and working out in the normal gyms, it became boring. I then found out about Crossfit and wanted to try it. Instantly I fell in love and been doing Crossfit ever since.

Why did you become a trainer?

I have always loved helping others and enjoyed seeing their progress!

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?

Clean

What is your favorite cheat food?

French fries

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

Captain America. He is so darn cute!

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

I got into CrossFit for the challenge from the typical global gym. CrossFit has become family which I could have never established in the global gym.

Why did you become a trainer?

I have always had the desire to help others… with anything, just enjoy lending a helping hand. I have always been into fitness so why not help others with theirs.

Cleans and Snatches

What is your favorite cheat food?

Drum sticks (ice cream)

Captain America, His care for others

I was unhappy in my own skin.

Why did you become a trainer?

I wanted others to enjoy the life changing experiences that I got to experience. For others to make a new family with fitness.

What year did you start CrossFitting?

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

I got into CrossFit because i was out of the military and i was looking for something that would challenge me physically, mentally and spiritually and keep me in great shape.

Why did you become a trainer?

I became a trainer because I want to see people achieve their personal goals like so many people have helped me achieve mine. I have been able to travel and hike mainly because of CrossFit, it has kept me in good shape and trains every aspect of your life. There is no better way to meet people and help them then through CrossFit. I’m excited to help people in any way i can and make some long lasting friendships.

I love squat cleans 🙂

What is your favorite cheat food?

pizza, wedges, cookies

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

Superman because he is truly a SUPER hero!

What year did you start CrossFitting?

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

I got into fitness because I had my body almost taken away from a severe car accident I was in. It gave me the desire to see my body flourish, and CrossFit is the best method I’ve found to allow my body to reach the greatest level of fitness while being functional for my everyday activity. Which isn’t much 🙂

Why did you become a trainer?

I became a trainer because I want to welcome anyone to this family. I wan’t to share my knowledge of CrossFit to help people better themselves & reach their goals.

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?

Snatch is my favorite movement. When i first started it was my ugliest movement, but after many hours of hard work with determination it’s become one of my best, technique wise. There are videos of how ugly it was, if you want to get a laugh.

What is your favorite cheat food?

Chipotle

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

Superman is my favorite because that’s who my Dad raised me with his comic books. Yes, I read comics.

What year did you start CrossFitting?

2011

Why did you get into fitness (and CrossFit)?

I’ve always been into fitness… In high school I played most every sport I could, and learned pretty quickly that being tall and incredibly thin (scrawny) didn’t really help my ability to play basketball.  By my junior year I hit the weight room, gained some muscle, and fell in love with fitness in general.  After college I let life take over, dropped down to a thin 150 lbs for a few years.  I was introduced to CrossFit in 2008-ish (building websites for some of the first affiliates out there), but didn’t join one until 2011.  Since then I’ve gained over 50 lbs of muscle.  I may not be built for running long distances anymore… but if there’s a zombie apocalypse, I’m prepared!

Why did you become a trainer?

I became a trainer because I had the opportunity, and I like being able to help people learn how to move more efficiently, get stronger and more explosive, as well as teaching them how to move safely.  And because of my own initial struggles with weightlifting (olympic-style lifting), I absolutely love coaching the technical lifts and translating a complex lift into things they already naturally do.

What’s your favorite CrossFit movement?

Squat Snatches, Squat Cleans

What is your favorite cheat food?

Pizza, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Craft IPAs

What’s your favorite Superhero and why?

Iron Man.  The dude really embraces the human struggle of trying to do good and manage his own insecurities… he’s like the new-age Batman.

I love the Hulk! He can be so calm and gentle then HULK SMASH when it’s necessary!
